365 pilgrims, led by twenty-year-old Dorian and his older brother Valerian, land on Earth a million years after the end of human civilization. Everyone they ever knew is long dead. In front of them lies a planet that no longer resembles their home. A million years earlier, their sister Valeriet and father Robert are desperately trying to save at least the remnants of a world that is unstoppably collapsing. The two stories are separated by the abyss of time, yet they are much more tightly connected than anyone can imagine. However, a new beginning does not necessarily mean a new human.

Even in the distant future, human hope, love, fear, but also the desire for power and old mistakes are present. And when the technology on which the survival of the expedition depends begins to fail, something much older than any machine will decide the future of humanity. Is the Earth really the end of the human story? Or only its first day?
